Mayans think world is ending in 2012. How so ever tragic that may sound for the moment I am really happy 2011 has come to an end. It was an awfully tough year. Lot of trials and tribulations. Ups and downs and downs. You get what I mean, right? In the final analysis the struggles override the joys for the most part of the year.
But every struggle leaves you with some learning (unless you are a complete ninny). Here is what 2011 taught me:
1. When things go bad from good, worse from bad, and terrible from worse, have faith that the darkest hour is just before the dawn (yeah, who said movie dialogues do not help! :P).
2. Spirituality is the bedrock to which you can fall back when everything else in life seems so unsure. The fall may leave you in pain but it will definitely help you be back up sure-footed.
3. Patience is one quality which you must relentlessly pursue to cultivate within yourself. It makes a world of difference to the world you live, the choices you make, the quality of relationships you have and so on and so forth.
But as with anything else do not overdo it. Know when you stopped being patient and started becoming indifferent.
That is all for now. I will come back and update this post when I stumble upon another learning that 2011 gave me.
Happy New Year to all!
